Refunds and cancellation
How to cancel a plan, what we refund, and how to ask for a refund.
Last updated 4 November 2026
The free plan
The free plan has no fee, and saving a card for it charges nothing. Its free credit is not money: it is not refunded or paid out. Top-ups are paid for, as at any time.
Cancelling a plan
Cancel at any time from the console: Billing, then Manage billing. The plan, with its included credits, stays active until the end of the month already paid for, and is then not renewed. Nothing more is charged after that.
Closing your account
Closing your account, from Settings in the console, ends its plan at once. What is left of the month is not refunded, and nothing more is charged.
Changing plan
A change to another plan takes effect at once. The difference is charged, or refunded, in proportion to the time left in the month.
What we refund
- A plan renewal you did not want: if you have not run a sandbox since the renewal, write to us within 14 days of the charge and we refund it in full.
- A top-up you have not used: write to us within 14 days of buying it and we refund what you paid for it in full, and its bonus is taken back with it. Once any of it has been used, it is not refunded.
- Our mistakes: if we charge you in error, or the service fails in a way that wastes your machine time, we refund or credit the amount affected.
- Otherwise, a month that has begun is not refunded in whole or in part, and unused included credits or top-ups are not paid back when an account is closed.
How refunds are paid
We pay refunds through Stripe to the card or account you paid with, in the currency you were charged, including any tax that was charged. Your bank may take 5 to 10 business days to show it.
How to ask
Write to [email protected] from your account's email address, with the date and the amount of the charge. We reply within five business days.
Disputed charges
Please write to us before disputing a charge with your bank. We may suspend an account while a chargeback on it is open.
Your legal rights
Nothing in this policy limits a right the law gives you that cannot be waived. The full terms are in the Terms of Service.
